Haircuts are available for pets whose coat requires clipping or trimming for maintenance. I do not have a weight limit and welcome all breeds and sizes!
I do require pets to be in good health, with no bite history or signs of aggression. Please check our policies for more information!

Premium Breeds
Thick/long double coated dogs are automatically charged as a premium breed, which is basically just our De-Shed fee added to the base price of the pet.
This is done because these dogs almost always require the use of our de-shed treatment as well as additional brushing to remove the undercoat and complete the service.
De-Shed treatment consists of using our de-shed products via the conditioner-shampoo-conditioner method.
Followed by forced air drying to blow out the coat before a thorough brushing with the appropriate tools.
This service is added to any basic bath or haircut service based on breed or at our discretion.

De-Shed

Our de-shedding helps remove loose undercoat and reduce shedding - and it's not just for "Premium Breeds!"
**Does not stop shedding completely, just helps reduce. Works best if repeated regularly.
Flea Relief

A flea shampoo, soothing conditioner, and a good blow out removes live adult fleas.
**Does not kill eggs or prevent re-infestation. Home must be treated and prevention meds used. Pets with severe infestation will be referred to a vet!

These are our services that do NOT require a full service bath or haircut. While we still require an appointment (we do not take walk ins) these services can often be booked same-day.
These are the only services where you, the pet parent, can stay and wait in our shared lobby as they typically only take us a few minutes to complete. Your pet is typically in-and-out!

Creative Grooming
I am finally ready to offer creative services!
These services will be offered on a LIMITED basis to dogs who can/will TOLERATE the process.
I am currently offering the following services:
Semi Permanent Dye - Ears, Tails, Poms, Legs
Color Depositing Shampoo - Ears, Tails, Poms, Legs
Carving/Shaping - small simple pieces
Considerations and Notes
Not all pets will be able to receive creative services, which include dyes or coat carving.
I will evaluate each pet upon check in to determine if creative requests may be accommodated based on the pet's health, coat, and temperament as well as my ability to complete the request.
For their own health and safety, the following pets will automatically be disqualified from receiving any creative services:
- Elderly pets (10+yrs)
- Puppies (under 1yr)
- Pets with ANY kind of heart, joint, or skin condition
I reserve the right to say "no" to any creative requests. I also reserve the right to END any creative session at ANY point.
These choices to accept any request or end any requested session will be made at my discretion.
Creative services are NOT guaranteed services.
I do not offer any satisfaction guarantees on creative grooming services. Why?
Creative works don't always go 100% to plan, or look 100% as envisioned. Anything can happen!
I will, of course, always try my hardest to match the pet parents vision for their pet!
I am not responsible for the pet parent changing their mind last minute OR deciding they actually don't like it once they see it.
I am not responsible for any problems family members may have with "surprise" creative grooming choices, within a household.
I reserve the right to charge FULL PRICE for any and all creative services regardless of the outcome.
I only use Opawz products, as these are the products I use on my own pets.
I will not use any other brand of product, including anything that is provided by the pet parent.
I do not offer any bleaching or lightening services at this time. I can only dye light colored coats - white, cream, etc. White will offer the best and brightest results.
Color Shampoos and
Semi Permanent Dyes
Semi Permanent Dyes and Color Depositing Shampoos are a fun way to make your dog POP, and most dogs enjoy the attention they get from creative coloring.
But please make note of the following:
Dyes and shampoos are meant to last! Opawz brands state that the color shampoos will last anywhere from 3-8 washes and the semi permanent dyes anywhere from 6-12.
That means your pet could be sporting creative color for UP TO FIVE MONTHS. How long a dye lasts will depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to: frequency of bathing (or getting wet), if the pet gets haircuts, coat texture, and how the dye sets. Every dog is different.
My personal dogs, just for reference, were given rainbow tails for Pride in May and still had obvious (though significantly faded) color in October. They get bathed every 4-6 weeks. The photos below show this. Left photo is from October 12, right two are from May16th and June 1st.
So please be aware that I cannot guarantee color will fade (or can be cut out or colored over) within any specific time frame, and you will have to be okay with the provided color for as long as it naturally remains.
How does it work?
Both dyes and shampoos are applied to a clean, dry coat so all pets are bathed and dried FIRST. The color is then applied using a brush or my fingers depending on what we're doing.
Dyes and shampoos have to SIT on the pet for UP TO 30 minutes. The longer the pet sits, the better the result typically is. Then the pet is rinsed until the water runs clear (usually about 10 minutes).
Multiple colors may need to be applied separately.
Pricing
Pricing for both semi-permanent dyes and color depositing shampoos are determined based on the following criteria:
- Number of colors used and if they can be applied at the same time
- What is being colored (ears, tail, both?)
- Complexity of the service
- Application and rinse time
- How much dye is used
- Dog's tolerance level and behavior during the service
- Size of the dog or application area
It's difficult to give an exact quote, as the above factors do vary by dog. In general, the prices MAY START AT:
- Ears: $30 per color
- Tail: $30 per color
- Leg Poms: $40 per color
- Designs: $40 per color
Remember: for two or more colors if they may be applied at the same time, the price may be less than if I have to apply them one at a time!

Color Depositing Shampoo
Coat Carving and Special Cuts
Coat carving is basically shaving shapes into the coat. This can be done a number of ways. One way is by shaving the outline of something into the coat, another is by shaving the shape OUT of the coat. Or you can shave the rest of the coat, leaving the shape longer.
This must be done on a clean, dry, combed out dog and only works with some types of hair. Short coated dogs, for example, usually don't work for this kind of creative service.
Special cuts refer to clipping the dog in a way that isn't standard to the breed OR the typical "puppy clip". Lion cuts, where the body is short and we leave a mane of hair around the head and neck is one example. Pony cuts, where the body is generally short but the bottom 2/3 of the leg AND a mohawk are left long, also qualify.

Carving:
$10 per shape, limited to basic shapes: circle, square, oval, heart, etc.
